Job summary

Manhattan Motorcars Group is seeking an Automotive Parts Advisor to source automotive parts, assist technicians and customers, and manage parts inventory with accuracy. You will prepare estimates, invoices, and orders while leveraging catalogs and supplier systems.

In this role, you will provide knowledgeable service, coordinate with vendors, and ensure a clean, organized parts area. Fast-paced environment requires reliability and strong multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive parts or dealership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and repair terminology.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to use computerized parts catalogs and inventory systems.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source automotive parts for repairs and customer needs.
• Assist technicians and customers with accurate parts selection.
• Prepare parts estimates, invoices, and orders.
• Maintain accurate parts inventory and organize the parts department.
• Research availability, pricing, and specifications through parts catalogs and supplier systems.
• Coordinate with vendors and follow up on special orders and backorders.
• Receive, inspect, label, and stock incoming parts.
• Process returns and warranty-related parts.
• Provide professional, knowledgeable customer service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts area.
