Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high levels of service to retail and installer customers. You will support store management, greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, and help with professional customer needs.

This role involves processing payments, handling exchanges, addressing complaints, and performing daily inventory and planogram tasks. Related training and possible in-store services are included.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and courteous communication.
• Ability to multitask in a busy retail environment.
• Comfort with matching alphanumeric part numbers quickly.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist in selecting merchandise.
• Promote customer service programs and related selling.
• Assist professional customers and installers as needed.
• Handle cash, checks, and card transactions securely.
• Process exchanges and returns per policy.
• Address and resolve customer complaints professionally.
• Support stock updates, planograms, and inventory tasks.
• Perform in-store services and basic diagnostics as trained.
• Drive deliveries when needed and approved by management.
• All other duties as assigned.
