Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Bastrop, LA seeks a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service to retail and installer customers while supporting store management in daily tasks. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

You will greet customers, assist with product selection, and help with professional customers as needed. Responsibilities include handling cash/credit transactions, processing returns, resolving complaints, and maintaining stock and planograms.

Qualifications

• Must deliver outstanding, friendly customer service.
• Able to multitask, handle in-store and phone requests.
• Familiar with automotive parts and sales or service is a plus.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
• ASE certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote customer service programs and upsell related items.
• Greet customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Assist managers and installers with professional customers as needed.
• Process cash, checks, and credit card transactions securely.
• Handle exchanges and returns per policy.
• Address customer complaints professionally.
• Maintain store cleanliness and planograms, stocking shelves.
• Perform in-store services (battery tests, wipers, light installs) as trained.
• Occasionally drive to make deliveries when needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
