Job summary

Walser Automotive Group is seeking an inventory/parts clerk to support our service and parts operations at our Bloomington location. The role involves checking in and pulling orders, quoting or invoicing parts, and arranging special orders when stock is unavailable.

You will coordinate with technicians and customers, and assist with deliveries for wholesale customers. Responsibilities include cycle counts, communicating with stakeholders, and helping manage damaged or backordered parts while

Qualifications

• Prior automotive retail/wholesale parts experience is helpful.
• Excellent customer service, organizational and communication skills.
• Must be able to work well as part of a team and alone.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Check in orders, pull orders, and put stock orders away.
• Look up parts in catalog, create quotes or invoices as needed.
• Create special order requests for parts not in stock and/or acquire in town if possible.
• Monitor special orders, upgrade parts if backorder.
• Keep good communication with customers, internal and external.
• Conduct inventory cycle counts.
• Assist the manager with damage/shortage claims with the manufacturer.
• Deliver parts to technicians and set up deliveries for wholesale customers.
• Assist customers in a friendly, professional manner.
