Job summary

Genuine Parts Company’s NAPA division is hiring a Parts Professional to deliver prompt, courteous service in store, over the phone, or at dealers. You will look up parts in catalogs or the POS system and process orders with high accuracy and courtesy, advising customers on the best options while adhering to policies.

Key responsibilities include keeping knowledge up-to-date on products, warranties, and sales programs, assisting other staff, and maintaining neat displays.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to greet and assist customers with courtesy and efficiency.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• ASE Parts Specialist certification preferred or required.
• Able to identify part numbers and codes accurately for correct delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous service in-store, over the phone, or at the dealer shop.
• Look up parts in catalogs or POS system and process orders accurately.
• Advise customers on best parts to meet their needs and resolve issues.
• Maintain knowledge of products, warranties, sales programs, and store policies.
• Support other store personnel with product and process questions.
• Handle stock orders, report overages/shortages/damaged merchandise, and keep displays presentable.
