Rohrman Automotive Group in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Parts Specialist to be the go-to resource for retail customers, service technicians, and the body shop. You will ensure the right parts reach the right place, pull and fill orders, and stay current with manufacturer updates.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, familiarity with automotive parts, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a warehouse environment; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist retail and shop customers in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Pull and fill orders from stock; locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and place emergency orders when necessary.
• Provide accurate price quotes and complete parts requests for the service department and body shop in a timely manner.
• Track and follow up on back-ordered parts; notify customers when special-order parts are received.
• Receive, stock, and replenish parts inventory daily; assist with physical inventory counts.
• Process charge sales, issue credits for returns, and ensure all internal parts requests are properly billed on repair orders.
• Stay current on manufacturer technical bulletins, new products, and product updates through ongoing training.

We're looking for a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll be the go-to resource for retail customers, service technicians, and the body shop — ensuring the right parts get to the right place, every time.
