Job summary

AutoZone, Inc. is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to serve as the frontline of WOW! customer service. You will help customers locate the right parts, assist with product selection, stock shelves, and support store operations to meet sales goals.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and strong communication in English and Spanish. Flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth are offered as part of AutoZone’s supportive retail environment. Prior retail or automotive knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible Schedule: Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Customer Assistance & Communication – Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions through clear, professional communication.
• Leadership & Teamwork – Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment. Support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Sales & Metrics Mindedness – Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience, while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Inventory Management & Store Operations – Restock merchandise, maintain organization, and follow proper point of sale procedures, loss prevention policies ensuring proper financial management.
• Process Orientation & Safety Compliance – Utilize structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently. Follow company safety policies and use PPE to maintain a secure work environment.
• Product Knowledge – Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Diagnostics Support – Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
