Job summary

AutoZone, Inc. is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service and help customers find the right automotive parts. You will assist with product selection, stock, and store operations while upholding safety and loss prevention policies.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication in English and Spanish, and basic automotive knowledge. Prior retail experience is a plus and ASE certification is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions through clear, professional communication.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience, while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain organization, and follow proper point of sale procedures, loss prevention policies ensuring proper financial management.
• Utilize structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently. Follow company safety policies and use PPE to maintain a secure work environment.
• Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
