Job summary

AutoZone is hiring a Retail Sales Associate to assist customers with parts selection and provide expert advice, helping maintain a well-stocked, organized store environment. You will play a key role in delivering WOW! Customer Service and driving sales while supporting store operations.

Qualifications include a minimum age of 16, ability to lift/move merchandise, and a flexible schedule. ASE certification and Spanish-English bilingual abilities are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Minimum age to apply is 16.
• Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends and overtime.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English for customer interactions.
• ASE Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions through clear, professional communication.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience, while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain organization, and follow proper point of sale procedures, loss prevention policies ensuring proper financial management.
• Utilize structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow PPE requirements for safety.
• Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
