Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate in Chaparral, NM. You will help customers find the right automotive parts, share expert advice, and keep the store well-stocked and organized.

You’ll work with a team to deliver WOW! customer service, support sales goals, and follow safety and operational procedures. Prior automotive knowledge and bilingual (Spanish/English) ability are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 years old.
• Physical ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Exceptional communication in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Customer Assistance & Communication – Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions.
• Leadership & Teamwork – Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment.
• Sales & Metrics Mindedness – Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience and sales metrics.
• Inventory Management & Store Operations – Restock merchandise, maintain organization, and follow POS procedures and loss prevention policies.
• Process Orientation & Safety Compliance – Follow structured processes and wear PPE to maintain a safe store.
• Product Knowledge – Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions.
• Diagnostics Support – Use diagnostic tools to read codes and recommend solutions.
