Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to deliver expert parts knowledge and exceptional service in-store and via phone. The role emphasizes automotive parts knowledge, sales goals, and DIY service capabilities such as battery installations and diagnostics support.

The candidate will use store systems for inventory and parts lookup, provide friendly, accurate assistance, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards while working with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience
• Proven sales ability and focus on fulfilling customer transactions
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus; clear communication with customers and teammates

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
