Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. seeks a Retail Parts Pro to provide expert DIY support, part lookups, and advanced store system usage in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist customers in-person and by phone, perform battery installation and other services, manage inventory, and maintain store appearance while meeting sales goals and safety standards. 3–5 years automotive parts experience and a valid driver's license are preferred; ASE certification is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to assist customers in person and over the phone.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and parts identification.
• Experience with inventory processes and basic repair services.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experiences for DIY customers via in-store visits and calls.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.).
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Handle key holder responsibilities including opening/closing duties.
