Advance Auto Parts in Lake Charles, LA is seeking a Retail Parts Pro—a professional sales role with expert store systems knowledge, automotive knowledge, and parts sourcing skills. The position is full time and requires a valid driver's license.

You will assist DIY customers, handle battery installs, wiper services, inventory tasks, and support store operations including opening/closing duties. Strong communication, math, and experience with Microsoft Word/Excel are expected, with weekend

Qualifications

3-5 years of automotive parts experience
Must have a valid driver’s license
ASE P2 certification or ASE-ready equivalent
Able to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed
Proven sales ability and customer service focus

Responsibilities

Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock
Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
