Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in Groveport, OH. This full-time role combines expert store systems knowledge with automotive part expertise to support DIY customers in person and over the phone.

You will handle parts lookup, source from multiple channels, and perform DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs. Strong customer service and inventory skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus);
• Ability to read safety rules, maintenance instructions, parts catalogs.
• Understand and follow written/oral instructions.
• Use Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs
