Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Brattleboro, Vermont, is hiring a Retail Parts Pro. This full-time role requires expert parts knowledge, strong customer service, and the ability to perform DIY services such as battery installations and testing.

You will work with advanced store systems, diagnose needs, and source parts from multiple channels. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, a valid driver’s license, and familiarity with inventory and POS systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience
• Must have a valid driver’s license; ASE certification preferred but not required
• English proficiency; Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customers and calls
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and tests
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Handle key holder responsibilities (open/close duties)
• Assist in inventory processes (cycle counts, back stock)
• Provide DIY services (battery installations, testing, wiper installs)
• Operate POS and parts lookup systems
