Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with expert knowledge of automotive systems, parts and store operations. You will handle in-store and phone interactions, source parts, and assist with basic services like battery installations and wiper replacements.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, strong sales ability, and fluency in English. ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability in a retail or automotive environment.
• Must read and interpret safety rules and manuals; basic math and reading comprehension.
• Able to operate Microsoft Word and Excel; proficient with store systems.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
