Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Howell Township, NJ, is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services and provide expert parts knowledge. This full-time role requires strong product knowledge, customer service, and the ability to operate store systems.

You will perform battery installations, wiper installs, and assist customers with parts lookups and special orders. Must have a valid driver's license; ASE is preferred but not required; Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
