Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with expert knowledge of parts, systems, and store operations. The role emphasizes GAS2 selling, high service standards, and accurate inventory handling in a full-time store position.

Responsibilities include customer assistance in person and by phone, performing DIY services such as battery installation and wiper changes, and inventory tasks while upholding safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
