Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with expert parts knowledge and in-store service. The role requires handling battery installations, testing, wiper installs, and inventory tasks while maintaining store appearance and safety standards.

Candidates should have 3–5 years in automotive parts, strong sales ability, and a valid driver’s license; ASE certification is a plus. Flexible days including weekends may be needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with past experience in fulfillment of customer transactions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license; ASE certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and testing, wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities: task assignment, safety, open/close duties.
• Assist in store inventory processes: truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
