Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is looking for a Retail Parts Pro in the United States to support advanced DIY sales with expert knowledge of store systems and parts knowledge. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, parts identification, and maintaining store standards.

The position involves in-store and phone interactions, battery testing and basic installations, and operating POS and inventory systems. We seek 3–5 years of automotive parts experience and ASE certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in selling automotive parts and delivering high levels of customer service.
• Ability to locate and source parts efficiently and accurately.
• Knowledge of store inventories and automotive systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and testing
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away and cycle counts
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and testing
