Job summary

Pick Your Part is seeking a High Value Core (HVC) Parts Handler to support the Production Yard or Warehouse in compliance with applicable standards and safety guidelines.

The role involves locating and retrieving parts, packaging for delivery, handling paperwork, and safely operating equipment such as forklifts or order pickers while maintaining a clean work area and coordinating with Sales and Dispatch.

Qualifications

• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Ability to follow directions and work under supervision.
• Knowledge of automotive parts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely maneuver around yard or warehouse.
• Find and retrieve parts.
• Package parts for delivery or prep.
• Any paperwork involved with the parts.
• Pull work orders.
• Use hand tools and power tools to remove parts from cars.
• Operate a powered industrial truck (forklift) or order picker.
• Pull and prep all sheet metal and other orders.
• Tag all parts properly for the destination.
• Communicate with Sales and Dispatch.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
• Assume other duties as assigned.
