Job summary

LKQ Corporation is seeking a Parts Handler to perform day-to-day yard/warehouse duties in a fast-paced automotive parts environment. You will safely maneuver around the yard, retrieve parts, package items for delivery, and handle related paperwork while following safety guidelines.

The role requires basic math, good communication, and the ability to operate tools and a forklift. A high school diploma or GED is required, and knowledge of automotive parts is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred knowledge of automotive parts.

Responsibilities

• Safely maneuver around the yard or warehouse.
• Find and retrieve parts.
• Package parts for delivery or prepping.
• Handle paperwork involved with the parts.
• Pull work orders.
• Use hand tools and power tools to remove parts from cars.
• Operate a forklift or order picker.
• Pull and prep all sheet metal and other orders.
• Tag all parts properly for the destination.
• Communicate with Sales and Dispatch.
• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude; follow safety procedures.
• Keep the work area clean.
• Assume other duties as assigned.
