Ken Garff Automotive Group’s Culver City Honda dealership is seeking a Parts Front Counter Sales Associate. You will handle customer inquiries, promote branded parts, and support inventory accuracy in a fast-paced parts department.

With 2+ years in automotive parts preferred, you will read instructions, solve problems, and maintain professional customer service. Valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required. Great benefits and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in automotive parts department preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend job-related instructions and information whether electronic or paper-based.
• Deals creatively and logically with problems while showing empathy for customers.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have the ability to move about the parts department and have computer skills.
• Ability to meet physical requirements (lift over 50 lbs) and possess a valid in-state driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer complaints tactfully and promptly per dealership guidelines; address parts-related issues.
• Encourage sale of branded parts.
• Improve efficiency of customer/Parts Department interactions and transactions.
• Establish processes to ensure accuracy between inventory and records.
• Refresh accessory displays and coordinate with Sales Manager to ensure accessory vehicles are available.
• Monitor workflow to ensure timely completion and meet technician needs.
• Make warranty and billing adjustments.
• Monitor backorders daily and ensure timely deliveries.
• Ensure dealership purchases are properly accounted for before payment.
• Tag all parts properly to ensure full credit from factory.
• Assist in collecting on overdue accounts.
• Notify special-order customers upon arrival of parts.
