Job summary

Koons Toyota Arlington is seeking an Automotive Parts Driver who will deliver parts to customers and other dealerships, verify orders, and maintain timely delivery schedules.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, coordinating pickups, and ensuring invoices match POs. Applicants must be 18+, have a valid driver's license, be able to lift 50+ pounds, and pass background and drug checks.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background and drug test).
• Must be able to lift up to and over 50 pounds.
• Experience with automotive parts or military equivalent experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist all customers and associates in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Checks with the parts manager, wholesale representative, inventory control administrator, parts counter people, or shipping and receiving clerk before leaving to coordinate any last minute pick-ups or deliveries.
• Pick up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and/or vendors.
• Pulls and fills orders from stock, as directed.
• Ensure that parts to be delivered matches invoice, verify that invoice matches PO (purchase order) for each pick-up.
• Secure and unload parts truck each night.
• Assist with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts.
• Maintain a prompt, efficient and timely flow of paperwork and delivery schedule.
