Job summary

Crossroads Ford of Apex in Apex, NC is seeking a full-time Parts Delivery Driver to support daily deliveries and ensure accurate documentation. You will load parts, deliver to customers per schedule, collect payment or obtain purchase orders, and file receipts for the parts manager.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of automotive experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass drug, background, and motor vehicle checks.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in the automotive field preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license.
• Successfully pass drug screen, background and motor vehicle records check.

Responsibilities

• Load parts on truck for that days deliveries.
• Deliver parts to customers according to delivery schedule.
• Collect payment for delivered goods or obtain purchase order when applicable.
• Organize documentation and receipts at end of day for parts manager.
• Assist in loading area and stock room as needed.
• Maintain an accurate mileage log for all deliveries.
• Responsible for cleanliness of delivery vehicle and that vehicle maintenance is performed on a regular basis.
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company's Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards.
