Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Jamestown, TN is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to pro customers. You will pick up returns, drop off sales flyers, and assist in promoting loyalty programs while maintaining a clean, stocked store.

The role requires safe driving, friendly communication, ability to read safety rules, and basic math; experience in automotive parts is preferred. You will work varied shifts, engage customers, and help grow sales through service and product

Qualifications

Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
Use basic math: add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.
Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques.
Prior automotive parts experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
Pick up returns and cores.
Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
Daily collection of credit accounts.
Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights.
Assist in upselling and cross‑selling products to increase average transaction value.
Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
Engage with walk‑in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
Other duties as assigned
