Job summary

Riverside Chevrolet is seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Counterperson to accurately locate and supply parts, either in‑store or via phone, and coordinate delivery and installation where needed.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of parts counter experience (GM experience required), plus excellent telephone and customer service skills. Bilingual Spanish is a plus, with a professional demeanor and a team‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years parts counter experience, preferably automotive dealership.
• GM experience is a MUST.
• Spanish language ability is a plus.
• Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
• Must be able to work in a commission/performance based environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter purchased items into sales/inventory system and complete sales.
• Take customer orders, clarify requests, identify parts and offer alternatives.
• Maintain parts inventory by verifying supplies and placing orders.
• Stock items and organize bins and shelves.
• Process returns: inspect, credit, re-pack, re-shelve.
• Follow safety standards and continue professional development.
• Assist in achieving organizational goals and adapt to new requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
