Job summary

Klick Lewis Chevrolet, a family-owned dealership with a long-standing presence, seeks a full-time Parts Counter Person to join its busy Parts and Service Department. The ideal candidate is production-minded, team-oriented, and self-driven, with attention to accuracy and accountability.

Responsibilities include assisting customers via phone, email, or in person; using the DMS to sell, track, and inventory parts; managing stock and core returns; and maintaining a professional image while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• At least 3 years of verifiable experience in a dealership environment.
• Proficient with computers and phone systems.
• General knowledge of the automotive industry, service departments, and basic parts operations.

Responsibilities

• Work with both internal and external customers, via phone, email, or in person to obtain parts accurately and timely.
• Use of the Dealer Management System to sell, track, and inventory parts.
• Parts Department duties such as checking in and putting away stock, securing warranty and core return parts, looking up and selling parts, creating special orders and tracking parts, rotating bin and physical inventory counts.
• Maintain a professional image and attitude while providing superior customer service.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding vehicle repairs, customer concerns, and inventory needs.
• Adhere to all safety and environmental standards and regulations set by the dealership and industry.
