Job summary

Hendrick Chevrolet (Columbia) seeks a Parts Counterperson to sell parts over-the-counter and provide parts to service and body shop departments. You will place special orders, read manuals to confirm part specs, and provide pricing information to customers.

Qualifications

• Reads manuals to ascertain part type and specification.
• Provides pricing and product information to customers.
• Records all hours worked in timekeeping system.
• Valid Driver's License and Automobile Salesperson License are required.

Responsibilities

• Assists customers in selecting and purchasing parts.
• Places special orders for parts.
• Dispenses parts to the service department and body shop.
• Orders out-of-stock parts requested by customers.
• Maintains CSI at dealership standards.
• Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area.
