Job summary

Auto-Wares Group of Companies is seeking a full-time Counterperson for our Bumper to Bumper West Bend store in West Bend, WI. You will greet customers, identify parts, and complete sales with strong service focus.

We value reliability, a team mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced automotive environment. Applicants should have at least 3 years of automotive experience, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to support store operations including returns and merchandising.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in automotive field
• Customer focused with strong communication skills
• Must be 18 years or older, with valid driver's license, no major violations
• No more than two moving violations in past 3 years (25+) or past 5 years (under 25)
• Able to lift and Carry up to 50 pounds with both arms

Responsibilities

• Be the face of the company by delivering positive customer experiences
• Provide accurate product knowledge and guidance to customers
• Finalize sales via in-person or other methods
• Develop deep knowledge of parts and services offered
• Support customers with all product options and uphold Never Say No policy
• Assist with store cleanliness and organization
• Process returns and assist newer staff in daily operations

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the face of our company by establishing positive experiences with every customer interaction.
• Conduct all activities using a customer focused perspective, always providing efficient and accurate expertise.
• Finalize sales using methods such as phone calls, in person communication, and more!
• Establish a deep knowledge of the parts and services we provide to our customers.
• Support our customers' needs through always offering all product options to our customers and exemplifying our Never Say No values.
• Assist store personnel in maintaining a clean and organized store appearance.
• Contribute to the store's daily operations by processing returns and assisting newer store personnel.

Schedule: Full time, Monday-Friday, Saturdays on rotation

Job Requirements:

• Previous 3 years experience in automotive field.
• Customer focused with strong communication skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of Age
• Valid Driver's License
• No major violations
• No more than two moving violations in the past 3 years if over 25 years of age, in the past 5 years if under 25 years of age
• No more than one at-fault accident
• Must be able to comply with all physical requirements of position including a pre-employment physical and drug test.
• Able to lift and Carry up to 50 Pounds with Both Arms.
