Job summary

Asbury is seeking a Parts Counter Associate to sell automotive parts over the counter, by phone, or through the shop. The role includes assisting customers, quoting prices, and ensuring correct parts per shop estimates.

A degree in automotive technology or military equivalent is preferred; bilingual ability is a plus, and a valid driver’s license is required. The position offers a base salary with a percentage of department profit, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer and phone skills (Internet, MS Outlook).
• Bi-lingual is a plus.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Inform customers of companion part requirements while ensuring exposure to full product line.
• Answer incoming phone calls and counter inquiries, providing price quotes and information.
• Review shop estimates to ensure parts align with the estimate and pricing.
• Pull and fill orders from stock; notify manager of out-of-stock items.
