Ed Napleton Automotive Group in Urbana, IL is seeking an Automotive Parts Counter Associate to serve internal and external customers, promoting the sale of parts, labor, and accessories. This role is based at Napleton Auto Park of Urbana and offers an opportunity within a large, growing dealership group.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, handling parts inquiries, processing documents, stocking parts, and coordinating with service advisors.

Qualificações

• Minimum 1 year of experience in automotive parts.
• Ability to lift 100 pounds.
• Automotive knowledge.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to undergo background check and drug screen.
• 18+ years of age.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers, determine needs, and provide excellent service.
• Establish a method of payment.
• Handle parts telephone inquiries regarding purchases.
• Distribute parts to service technicians.
• Accept warranty parts and cores for return.
• Return warranty parts to factory with proper tagging.
• Process documents and associated parts.
• Identify related parts needed on repair jobs.
• Inform Service Consultant of parts stocking status.
• Ensure department security for parts and paperwork.
• Write purchase orders for parts and sublet work.
• Use computer system to post sales and track losses.
• Provide information to Parts Manager for special orders.
• Maintain parts in correct locations and bins.
• Keep work area clean and help with cleanup.
• Stay updated on training and certifications.
• Stock and pull parts inventory as needed.
