Job summary

BMW of Traverse City, part of the Fox Motors family, is hiring an Automotive Parts Advisor to connect technicians, retail clients, and body shops with high-quality BMW parts and accessories. You will help customers identify parts, provide quotes, and fulfill orders with care.

The role supports service advisors and shop technicians to speed repairs, tracks orders, and uses EPC and dealership systems to manage inventory accurately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 months of automotive parts or retail experience (dealership experience preferred).
• Strong computer literacy and comfort using technology to serve customers.
• Excellent communication, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist retail, shop, and phone customers with parts identification, quotes, and order fulfillment.
• Support service advisors and shop technicians to ensure fast turnaround times on repairs.
• Track special orders, manage backorders, and keep customers updated on delivery schedules.
• Utilize electronic catalogs (EPC) and dealership systems to manage inventory accurately.
