Job summary

Caliber Collision's Service Center Lubbock - Marsha Sharp Fwy is seeking an Automotive Painter to perform all-purpose paint duties, including tinting and mixing paints to OEM standards, applying top coats, curing, and ensuring masked areas are correctly removed before returning vehicles to the body technician.

Requirements include 3+ years of paint operations experience in a collision center and, preferably, an Auto Body certificate or ASE refinishing certification.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of paint operations experience in a collision center.
• Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred.
• Ability to read and understand instructions and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare color tint to match paint color and mix paints.
• Ensure formulations, preparations, top coating and curing meet OEM standards.
• Perform masking, top coat application and verify reassembly before returning the vehicle.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and collaborate with body technicians.
