Caliber Collision in Lubbock is hiring an Automotive Painter to perform all-purpose duties, including preparing tint, mixing paints, and ensuring coatings meet OEM standards.

This role requires 3+ years of paint operations in a collision center; an Auto Body certificate or ASE refinishing certification is preferred. You will read estimates and work orders, communicate clearly, and coordinate with body shop staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
• Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare color tint to match paint color and mix paints per OEM standards.
• Apply topcoat and curing according to OEM guidelines.
• Mask and unmask work areas after painting, ensuring proper reassembly.
• Read and interpret written estimates and work orders; communicate effectively.
