Job summary

Caliber Collision is hiring an Automotive Painter at the Service Center Morrow - Mt Zion Blvd to perform all painting duties and related tasks. Responsibilities include tinting, mixing, and applying paint per OEM standards, masking, and reassembly after painting.

The position requires experience in collision-center paint operations with preferred Auto Body or ASE refinishing credentials; the company offers comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in paint operations within a collision center.
  • Reading and understanding written estimates and work orders.
  • Ability to follow OEM standards for paint application.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare color tint to match paint color.
  • Mix paint colors and ensure formulations.
  • Ensure all top coatings and curing meet OEM standards.
  • Ensure masking is removed and prior paint disassembly is reassembled.

Skills

Service Center Morrow - Mt Zion Blvd JOB SUMMARY

Caliber Collision has an immediate job opening for an Automotive Painter to perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but not limited to: Preparing color tint to match paint color, mixing paint colors and ensuring all formulations, preparations, top coating and curing meet original equipment manufacturer (OEM) recommended standards for proper application sequence, timing and materials usage, ensuring that all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed, and all prior paint-related disassembly have been reassembled prior to returning the vehicle to the body technician.

REQUIREMENTS
  • 3+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred
ABILITIES/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
  • Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Work through competing priorities and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
