Job summary

Caliber Collision has an immediate opening for an Automotive Painter to perform all-purpose duties in our collision center. You will prepare color tint to match paint color, mix formulations, and ensure OEM standards for application sequence, timing and materials usage.

As you complete paint operations, you will remove masking and reassemble prior to returning the vehicle to the body technician, contributing to a smooth, high-quality repair process.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
• Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred.

Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY

Caliber Collision has an immediate job opening for an Automotive Painter to perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but not limited to: Preparing color tint to match paint color, mixing paint colors and ensuring all formulations, preparations, top coating and curing meet original equipment manufacturer (OEM) recommended standards for proper application sequence, timing and materials usage, ensuring that all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed, and all prior paint-related disassembly have been reassembled prior to returning the vehicle to the body technician.

REQUIREMENTS

3+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred

ABILITIES/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs. Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders Effective verbal and written communication skills Work through competing priorities and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment Ability to work in a collaborative environment
