Job summary

Caliber Collision is hiring an Automotive Painter in Murfreesboro, TN. The role involves preparing color tint, mixing paints to OEM standards, top coating, curing, masking, and reassembly before handing back to the body technician.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of paint operations experience in a collision center and may hold an Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare color tint to match paint colors and mix paints to OEM specifications

  • Remove masking and reassemble prior to returning vehicle to technician
  • Maintain quality and safety standards during paint operations
  • Communicate effectively with team and document work performed

Job Summary

Caliber Collision has an immediate job opening for an Automotive Painter to perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but not limited to: Preparing color tint to match paint color, mixing paint colors and ensuring all formulations, preparations, top coating and curing meet original equipment manufacturer (OEM) recommended standards for proper application sequence, timing and materials usage, ensuring that all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed, and all prior paint-related disassembly have been reassembled prior to returning the vehicle to the body technician.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred
Abilities / Skills / Knowledge
  • Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Work through competing priorities and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
