Job summary

Volvo Car Germany GmbH is seeking a Packaging Engineer to lead development, industrialization and handover of packaging solutions across vehicle programs. You will work with VSIM/PFEC data and coordinate with Purchasing, plants, and SCM teams to ensure timing, cost, and quality targets are met.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Packaging or related field, 3+ years of packaging engineering experience, strong project management and cross-functional collaboration across international teams, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
Experience using Teamcenter, CATIA, and CAD software.
Minimum of 3 years of packaging engineering experience.
Strong cross-functional and international project management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement packaging solutions for all vehicle programs.
Lead packaging development activities for standard, one-way, and type-bound packaging.
Interact with suppliers regarding packaging development and verification.
Collaborate with Purchasing, plants, and SCM functions on packaging solutions.
Update data in VSIM and other systems, and manage cost estimates.
