Job summary

Caliber Auto Glass has an immediate opening for a Mobile Auto Glass Technician Apprentice to learn and be mentored to perform all-purpose duties, including replacement of automotive glass and occasional repairs. You will complete pre- and post-inspections with customers and document repair orders on a mobile device, while prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced shop.

Responsibilities

• Assist in replacement of automotive glass following quality standards.
• Perform repairs on damaged glass as trained.
• Complete pre- and post-inspections with customers and document repair orders on mobile devices.
• Assist with removal and installation of trim panels and interior parts without damage.

JOB SUMMARY

Caliber Auto Glass has an immediate job opening for a Mobile Auto Glass Technician Apprentice to learn and be mentored to perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but not limited to: Replacement of automotive glass by following quality standards and ability to perform repairs on damaged glass, complete a pre and post inspection with customer, may utilize various tools and scanning equipment, complete documentation of repair orders on mobile device, ability to remove and install trim panels & interior parts without damaging, effectively prioritize and manage your time to complete assigned daily tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks
• Nice to have, but not required: Previous collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification.

ABILITES/SKILLS/KNOWNLEDGE

• Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
