Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions, along with its affiliated brands, is hiring a Mobile Diagnostic Technician Apprentice. You will receive mentorship and training to learn how to perform diagnostic and mechanical repairs under supervision of an experienced technician.

As an apprentice, you will work on vehicles at mobile sites, following OE specifications, and gain hands-on experience across a wide range of manufacturers in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under our insurance policy.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks.
• Nice to have, but not required: Previous automotive experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic and mechanical repairs under supervision.
• Learn and apply repair standards and OE specifications.
• Work as part of a mobile automotive service team.

As a Protech Diagnostic Apprentice Technician you will be provided mentorship and training to learn how to perform diagnostic and mechanical repairs under the supervision of an experienced technician.

You will gain confidence as an automotive mobile technician across a wide range of manufacturers. Performing repairs to vehicles by following OE specifications and repair standards.

REQUIREMENTS

ABILITES/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

• Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
• Be able to understand instructions – written and verbal.
• Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast‑paced environment.
