Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is hiring for a Mobile Diagnostic Technician Apprentice. As a Protech Diagnostic Apprentice Technician you will be mentored and trained to learn diagnostic and mechanical repairs under an experienced technician, gaining confidence as a mobile automotive technician across multiple manufacturers.

You will perform repairs to OE specifications and standards. Benefits from day one include medical, dental and vision; paid weekly with overtime; paid vacation and holidays;

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and eligible for insurance coverage.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks.
• Nice to have automotive experience (not required).

As a Protech Diagnostic Apprentice Technician you will be provided mentorship and training to learn how to perform diagnostic and mechanical repairs under the supervision of an experienced technician. You will gain confidence as an automotive mobile technician across a wide range of manufacturers. Performing repairs to vehicles by following OE specifications and repair standards.

Requirements

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under our insurance policy
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks
• Nice to have, but not required: Previous automotive experience

Abilites/Skills/Knownledge

• Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
• Be able to understand instructions – written and verbal
• Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
