The Boyd Group in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking an Automotive ADAS Technician to test, diagnose, calibrate ADAS systems, and repair vehicles. You will interact with customers, generate invoices, manage parts, and ensure service quality.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in automotive/electronic tech, knowledge of OE scan tools and wiring procedures, and solid computer basics. This full-time role offers a strong salary range and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Must possess high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 4+ years relevant automotive/electronic technician experience.
  • Knowledge of wiring repair procedures.
  • Knowledge of OE scan tools.
  • Ability to service A/C systems.
  • Basic computer knowledge including email, spreadsheets and messaging systems.

Responsibilities

  • Determines testing and analysis by communicating with shop representatives and reviews all estimates for repair.
  • Performs diagnostic testing, programming, ADAS calibrations and analysis.
  • Performs wiring repairs.
  • Advises shop of needed repairs.
  • Keeps inventory of stock, communicating with support staff for needed orders and verifying order receipts.
  • Writes, prints and emails service invoices.
  • Collects signature or payment for work performed.
  • Delivers completed invoices and payments to office in orderly manner.
  • Collaborates with teammates according to PPT guidelines to schedule/complete jobs.
