Job summary

The Boyd Group in Reidsville, NC is seeking an Automotive ADAS Technician to perform testing, calibrations and repairs on advanced driver assistance systems. You will interact with customers, generate invoices, manage parts inventory, and ensure service vehicles are maintained to high standards.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years as automotive/electronic technicians, hands-on diagnostic skills and experience with OE scan tools. A high school diploma or GED and good computer skills are required.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of automotive/electronic technician experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Knowledge of OE scan tools and wiring repair procedures.
  • Ability to diagnose and calibrate ADAS systems.
  • Basic computer skills including email and spreadsheets.
  • Willingness to continuously update job knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Determines testing and analysis by communicating with shop representatives and reviews all estimates for repair.
  • Performs diagnostic testing, programming, ADAS calibrations and analysis.
  • Performs wiring repairs and advises shop of needed repairs.
  • Keeps inventory of stock and verifies order receipts.
  • Writes, prints and emails service invoices; collects payments.
  • Delivers completed invoices to office and maintains orderly process.
  • Collaborates with teammates to schedule and complete jobs.
