Job Summary

The Mechanical Service Technician is responsible for brake, tune-up, diagnostic, and repair services, along with additional tasks as directed by the Shop Manager or Assistant Shop Manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality mechanical repair services following industry standards
• Build trusting customer relationships through honest and competent service
• Maintain shop supply inventory and notify management for reorders
• Explain SpeeDee programs, services, and pricing to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue growth
• Attend relevant training sessions
• Ensure equipment is functioning properly and perform preventive maintenance
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards or needed repairs

Requirements

• Commitment to excellence in service
• Advanced automotive experience
• A.S.E. Certification in Engine Performance, Engine Repair, and Brakes
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Enthusiastic work ethic
• Neat appearance
• Valid driver's license

Additional Duties

All team members are responsible for general maintenance and cleaning, attending meetings, and other tasks assigned by supervisors.
