Kendall Collision Center of Coburg is seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanical Repair Technician to join our busy collision center. This role focuses exclusively on mechanical repairs and diagnostics with no body work.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with modern vehicle electrical and computer systems.
• Collision repair experience helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical damage resulting from vehicle collisions.
• Perform suspension, steering, brake, and drivetrain repairs.
• Diagnose and repair cooling and A/C systems.
• Perform electrical diagnostics and repairs.
• Replace and program sensors and other electronic components as needed.
• Perform ADAS-related mechanical/electronic repairs and calibrations as applicable.
• Complete pre- and post-repair mechanical inspections.
• Perform diagnostic scans and interpret diagnostic trouble codes.
• Follow OEM repair procedures and manufacturer specifications.
• Properly document repairs and communicate additional mechanical needs.
• Work closely with estimators and the collision repair team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
