Join Kendall Collision Center Coburg as an Automotive Mechanical Repair Technician. This full-time role focuses exclusively on mechanical repairs and diagnostics, with no body work involved, to restore vehicles to safe operating condition.

Ideal candidates diagnose accurately, perform suspension, brake, drivetrain, and electrical repairs, and calibrate ADAS systems. Relocation packages and a robust benefits package accompany a stable, team-driven shop environment.

Qualifications

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical damage from vehicle collisions.
  • Perform suspension, steering, brake, and drivetrain repairs.
  • Diagnose and repair cooling and A/C systems.
  • Perform electrical diagnostics and repairs.
  • Replace and program sensors and other electronic components as needed.
  • Perform ADAS-related mechanical/electronic repairs and calibrations as applicable.
  • Complete pre- and post-repair mechanical inspections.
  • Follow OEM repair procedures and manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

This Is a Mechanical Position. No body work, dent repair, sanding, or painting. You will be responsible for themechanical side of collision repairs, helping ensure every vehicle is mechanically safe and properly repaired before returning to the customer.

Work is performed indoors in a shop environment, tool usage includes mechanic’s hand and power tools that produce significant vibration and force, standing and walking will be required for entire work shift in order to complete job duties. Pushing, pulling, crouching, squatting, reaching, and kneeling will be required frequently to access all parts of vehicles being worked on. Lifting as well as pushing and pulling weights and forces from 20 to 100 pounds occasionally required.
