Job summary

Pep Boys / Mavis Tire in Dracut, MA is seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles, ensuring safety and road readiness. You will perform under-car work, brake and suspension service, tire mounting, and routine maintenance, within a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Have at least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Have the personal tools necessary to perform automotive and undercar repairs.

Responsibilities

• Performing undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, shocks, suspension, and steering.
• Diagnosing vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
• Performing oil and filter changes and checking fluids.
• Replacing worn or damaged parts.
• Completing state inspections, where applicable.
• Mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Maintaining Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service.
