Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices in the New Castle, DE area is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art service centers.

You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of undercar repairs—brakes, struts, shocks—and handle inspections, oil changes, fluid checks, tire mounting and balancing, and other duties as part of a busy shop.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Possess an extensive toolbox of personal tools used in undercar repairs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles.
• Perform undercar repairs including brakes, struts, shocks, and related components.
• Complete state-mandated inspections and regular maintenance tasks such as oil changes and filter replacements.
• Check fluids, replace worn parts, and dismount/mount/rotate/balance tires as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced environment to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repetitive movements; regularly lift items weighing over 50 pounds.
