Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis in the Bay Shore, NY area at one of our state-of-the-art centers. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of automotive services, including brakes, tires, and undercar repairs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess 2 years of automotive repair experience and/or training.
• Possess an extensive toolbox of personal tools.
• Preferred: state inspection license(s) and ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services.
• Undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, fluid checks, and part replacement.
• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
